This year our Diversity in IP breakfast morphed into a Diversity in IP lunch. Organised in collaboration with CIPA and FICPI-UK, the event celebrated a visit by a delegation from the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA).
While enjoying a free buffet lunch, guests were treated to a talk by Carolyn Pepper and Kacey Ibirogba on the business incentives for diversity and inclusion, introduced by our Women in IP community. Carolyn is a media, IP and IT partner at Reed Smith and Chair of The Law Society’s Intellectual Property Law Committee. Kacey is a law student at Birkbeck University, where she is the Disabilities Officer and a passionate volunteer for several causes, and is currently on an internship with Reed Smith.
The event was open to all IP professionals. It was held in the Large Pension Room at The Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn, 5-7 South Square, London, WC1R 5ET, from 12.45 to 2 pm.
