A hybrid coffee date
with the IP Inclusive Scotland Network

Thursday 26 January 2023
9 for 9.30 am

The IP Inclusive Scotland Network invited you to a hybrid “coffee morning”-type event with a focus on the topic of “unconscious bias”.

The event was hosted in-person at the Murgitroyd offices in Glasgow (Murgitroyd House, 165-169 Scotland Street, Glasgow G5 8PL), with online participants welcomed via Zoom. It was chaired by David Blair of AA Thornton.

The format included a brief welcome and introduction followed by round-table and breakout room discussions on some questions to encourage conversation. If anybody felt comfortable sharing their experiences then they were encouraged to take one of Harvard University’s Implicit Association Tests in advance and shared their results and thoughts with the group.

Anybody was welcome to attend, from Scotland or beyond!

Who was it for?

This event was open to all UK-based IP professionals, in particular but not exclusively those based in Scotland. It didn’t matter what type of organisation you worked in, what role you played in it or what career level you were at.

Cost

This event was free. So are all our resources. We think it’s important to keep IP Inclusive on the right side of the paywall.

That said, we do need money to keep the show on the road, so if you enjoyed the event, please consider contributing to our 2022-23 fundraising campaign. For more information – including about corporate donations – visit our fundraising page.
