Hybrid working:

How as individuals we can make hybrid working work for everyone

NEW DATE ***Thursday 18 January 2024*** NEW DATE

4.30 pm – 5.30 pm

Hybrid working is here to stay. In June 2023, The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development reported that 83% of organisations have a hybrid-working model in place, up from 77% in 2022 (CIPD, May 2023). However, the impact of hybrid working on workplace culture continues, with organisations expressing concern about the negative impact of hybrid working on things such as organisational culture, communication and team collaboration.

Much has been debated on what organisations can do to minimise any negative impact. In this session, however, we discussed what we can do as individuals to make hybrid working effective. We explored how we contribute as individuals to effective team working and how the strengths of the relationships we hold with our colleagues can impact our careers, team work and performance in our jobs.

The session was led by Jo Spreckley, Training and Development Manager at Marks & Clerk LLP. Jo has over 15 years’ experience of working in learning and development in Financial Services and Law and holds a Masters in Occupational Psychology.
