Women in IP

We treated ourselves to a night out at The Courthouse Hotel Cinema in Soho and found out more about this fascinating 1940s screen star and inventor. The screening was followed by drinks and canapes.

“Bombshell” tells the story of Hedy Lamarr, a 1940s film idol, whose beauty and glamour overshadowed her true talent as an inventor. Her work revolutionised telecommunications and would eventually force the world to recognise that it had greatly underestimated her contributions.

Our thanks to CIPA for organising this event alongside IP Inclusive’s Women in IP community.
