2024 AIPLA Women in IP Law Global Networking Event

The American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA)’s Women in IP Global Networking events were in-person again this year. We were delighted, through our Women in IP community, to partner with the AIPLA to promote them.
There were UK events in Manchester, London and Leeds. They were free of charge and open to non-members of AIPLA.
This year’s event theme was 🌟Cultivating Leaders🌟.
The event took place on a single day and comprised a series of sub-events in different cities around the world. There were around 70 such events taking place around the world, with live link-ups between attendees in different cities. The sub-events were hosted by firms or companies in their city, either at their premises or an external venue which they arrange, and the format was largely up to the host, if possible, keeping the general theme mentioned above.
During the event, there was an international networking meet up call, in which sub-events taking place at that time connected by videoconference to learn about each other.
The Manchester Event

Mewburn Ellis was delighted to be able to host in person a global networking and discussion event to celebrate women in intellectual property and innovation. Everyone was welcome.
The London Event

Attendees joined Finnegan for hors d’oeuvres and to raise a glass to celebrating leaders!
The Leeds Event
Time: 5 pm BST
Location: Page White Farrer, Platform, New Station Street, Leeds LS1 4JB
Attendees joined us to celebrate some trail-blazing female leaders on 18 April 2024!
Attendees heard some fantastic female leaders share their success stories as we explored the theme ‘Cultivating Leaders’:
