2025 AIPLA Women in IP Law Global Networking Event

The American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA)’s annual Women in IP Global Networking Event connected intellectual property practitioners from around the world for a day of networking, education, and creating meaningful connections. This year’s theme, Innovation and Collaboration, was an opportunity for the AIPLA Women in IP Law Committee to come together and discuss how women drive innovation and foster collaboration in their workplace. We were delighted, through our Women in IP community, to partner with the AIPLA to promote them.
The events took place on a single day and comprised a series of sub-events in different cities around the world. There were around 70 such events taking place around the world, with live link-ups between attendees in different cities. The sub-events were hosted by firms or companies in their city, either at their premises or an external venue which they arranged, and the format was largely up to the host, if possible keeping to the general theme mentioned above.
There were UK events in Manchester, London and Leeds. They were free of charge and open to non-members of AIPLA.
The Leeds Event

Attendees joined Page White Farrer and IP professionals from around the world at an international networking event coordinated by AIPLA (American Intellectual Property Law Association) in Leeds. As ever, it was a fun-packed evening and we linked up with events in the USA, as well as enjoying Singo Bingo (hosted by Shane Durrant) and joining our US friends in Taco Thursday.
The Manchester Event

Mewburn Ellis were delighted to host the 2025 American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) Women in IP Global Networking Event in Manchester. The event featured an educational session followed by networking and refreshments—a great opportunity to connect and learn. This event was open to everyone, regardless of gender or role.
The London Event

📍 Location: Temple Bar, next to St Paul’s, First Floor Paternoster Lodge, 2 Paternoster Square, London EC4M 7DX
Collyer Bristow invited you to join them as their IP team hosted a typically English afternoon tea (with food and fizz) at the historical arch room at Temple Bar next to St Paul’s, which is by their office in Paternoster Square in the City and is a lovely site to visit. The time was 2.30 to 4.30 pm.
