A Mental Health Awareness Week webinar
with CITMA
Thursday 12 May 2022
12.30 – 1.30 pm
Working with your peers in the industry to evolve your approach to stressful situations and improve your coping strategies.
The Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (CITMA) kindly invited IP Inclusive supporters to their free webinar to mark Mental Health Awareness Week from 9 to 15 May 2022.
Deftly chaired by Penny Aspinall, representing the mental health charity Jonathan’s Voice, IP professionals worked together to exchange ideas and experiences on how stress can be managed before it becomes overwhelming.
We also examined the ways that participants currently think and feel in specific situations, seeking to shift the patterns of stress.
By introducing a “risk assessment” approach to reviewing stressors, and emphasising the importance of rest as a tool to handle stress, this webinar enhanced attendees’ abilities to prevent stress from becoming a detrimental force in their lives.
Learning objectives
- Stress management techniques
- Identifying stressful situations before they fully develop
- Changing your thought patterns
- The importance of breaks and rest
