Do you hear all the voices in your team?
Webinar – IP Inclusive and Focal Point
Thursday 12 February 2026
12.30 – 1.30 pm, online
- How confident are you that everyone’s voice is heard in your team?
- Does everyone have a chance to contribute?
- Are the quieter voices heard too?
- Is there friction when different ideas are discussed?
- How confident are you that you know how everyone feels when managing a change?
It is easy for us to think we are creating an inclusive team environment when in reality discussions, meetings and feedback can often be dominated by a handful of opinions and views.
In this webinar Stella Chandler from Focal Point – specialists in workplace behaviour – looks at a practical technique for creating a more inclusive approach to problem solving, decision-making and managing change.
de Bono’s Six Thinking Hats is a structured framework which helps teams look at challenges from multiple perspectives.
In doing so it:
- Ensures all viewpoints are heard
- Ensures different cognitive styles are valued
- Reduces the possibility of “group think” and potentially damaging biases (such as confirmation bias)
- Supports neurodivergent team members with a clear structured approach
- Breaks habitual thinking patterns
- Improves collaboration and reduces conflict
- Leads to more balanced and better quality decisions
The webinar will cover:
- How the technique works
- The different contexts it can be used in
- Q and A
- Practical actions to take away
Who is it for?
IP Inclusive events are for everyone working in the IP professions – including marketing, HR, IT, paralegal, recruitment, patents, trade marks, and whatever level you are at from trainee to senior leader – *everyone* is welcome to attend. The webinar will be particularly useful for anyone in the IP community who:
- leads meetings and teams (from a strategic level to day to day team management)
- would like better opportunities to contribute
- wants to act as an ally to the people who don’t get heard
Join us to see how one technique can make a huge difference to so many aspects of inclusive working!
