A free webinar from
IP Inclusive, Careers in Ideas and CIPA
Tuesday 17 January 2023
12:30 – 1:30 pm
Event overview
For the patent and trade mark professions, EDI has been taking centre stage for a while now and we’ve seen some wonderful initiatives both from the institutes, from IP Inclusive/Careers in Ideas and from our many other friends and allies. Even so, sometimes it can be difficult to identify what difference you, as an individual, can make. Well, struggle no more – CIPA and IP Inclusive teamed up with the three charities Generating Genius, In2scienceUK and The Access Project, who are desperate for volunteers to help out with building opportunities for those in the EDI space. Whether it be tutoring, mentoring or inspiring careers talks, we heard from the charities themselves as well as volunteers who told their personal stories. Chaired by the effervescent Lee Davies.
Who was it for?
This webinar was open to all IP Inclusive supporters, whether or not CIPA members. It was of particular value to people who work with patents and other STEM-related aspects of IP. We welcomed attendees in all roles and at all career levels.

Cost
This event was free, for all IP Inclusive supporters whether or not CIPA members. We think it’s important to keep IP Inclusive’s events and resources on the right side of the paywall.
That said, we do need money to keep the show on the road, so if you enjoyed the event please consider contributing to our 2022-23 fundraising campaign. For more information – including about corporate donations – visit our fundraising page.
