IP Futures were very excited to bring you Episode Three of their extremely popular series, “What I’d tell my younger self”!

Robert Andrews joined Mewburn Ellis in 2006 as a trainee patent attorney and is now a partner in their Life Sciences team working predominantly in the biopharma sector. As well as this, Robert has now been elected Chief Inclusion and Diversity Officer at the firm and is a signatory to the IP Inclusive Senior Leaders’ Pledge.

Robert spoke to IP Futures with committee lead Rachel Bell (GSK) in an informal “fireside chat” to explain more about this new role, as well as sharing his journey in the profession and what he would tell his younger self. We touched on a range of D&I topics including, for example, the benefits and challenges of being your authentic self.

There was a Q&A session at the end of our discussion where delegates had the opportunity to put their own questions to Robert.

Because this was an informal event, we didn’t record it.

Registration

This event was open to IP professionals in all roles – not just attorneys!

Cost

This event was free. So are all our resources. We think it’s important to keep IP Inclusive the right side of the paywall.

That said, we do need money to keep the show on the road, so if you enjoyed the event please consider contributing to our 2021-22 fundraising campaign. For more information – including about corporate donations – visit our fundraising page.
