for an online discussion to mark
International Day of Persons with Disabilities

Thursday 3 December 2020

IP Ability invite you to join them for a relaxed review of their first year at midday on Thursday 3 December, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

We encourage anyone working in IP to attend, including disabled IP professionals, IP professionals with caring responsibilities for disabled people, and allies.

We will start the event with a short introductory presentation summarising our first year. Expect to hear about our recent survey on the accessibility of the patent qualifying exams; the resources we’ve published; our 2020 webinars; and our work with the other IP Inclusive communities.

We’ll then split into smaller groups to review what we’ve done and to suggest things we should try to do in the next 12 months and beyond. These small group discussions should help us better support those already working within the IP professions; encourage and assist in making the IP professions more accessible, inclusive and welcoming; and raise awareness and understanding of all impairments and the impact of caring responsibilities.

If you have any accessibility requirements, please let us know when you register (or email, and we’ll do our best to make sure you can join us and get the most out of the event.

We really hope to see you there!

This event is open to all IP professionals.

The Eventbrite registration link is above. If you have problems using Eventbrite and would prefer us to register you, please email and we’ll be happy to help.
