IP Futures hosted their first breakfast networking event at Cleveland Scott York on Tuesday 28 January. Guests were invited to come along any time between 8 am and 10 am, for a light bite and tea/coffee, and to chat about our experiences of finding out about the IP professions and the subsequent recruitment processes, and how we might improve things going forward.
This was an informal, drop-in event, and as always, all early career professionals across the IP sector – including paralegals, formalities staff, IP managers, trade mark attorneys, patent attorneys, solicitors, barristers, searchers and IP Office employees – were encouraged to attend.
