Calling all early career IP professionals!
IP Futures, the new IP Inclusive community for early career professionals working in IP, held its launch event on the evening of Thursday 12 September 2019. Delegates were invited to come along to share their views and experiences, get advice, ask questions and most importantly, meet and chat with other early career IP professionals.
The event included a “sneak peek” at the results of IP Futures’ initial survey, which had investigated topics such as social mobility and inclusivity in the workplace. Workshop-style discussions then looked at three key areas in light of the survey results: outreach, recruitment and early career support. The many great ideas generated will be shared with the wider IP Inclusive community and will help shape IP Futures’ priorities during its first year. These are likely to include a close collaboration with the Careers in Ideas outreach initiative. You can read the key outcomes and discussion points here.
