Identity and Choice – Navigating Professional Change Authentically 🌈
A joint event hosted by OUTbio UK, IP Out, and Victoria House.
IP Out is teaming up with OUTbio UK and Victoria House for a special joint event this month. We’ll be bringing together LGBTQ+ professionals and allies from across life sciences, law, and beyond for an evening of relaxed networking, community building, and conversation over drinks and nibbles.
As part of the evening, there will be a short panel session titled: “Identity and Choice – Navigating Professional Change Authentically”
Hear personal reflections from a mix of OUTbio and IP Out voices on how identity shapes career decisions and transitions. Our panellists will explore the following themes:
- How identity influences professional choices and confidence
- Navigating pressure to downplay or amplify identity at work
- Moving between sectors or stepping into new roles
- How organisations, allies and networks can foster authenticity and mobility for LGBTQ+ professionals
This isn’t a full panel discussion — it’s a flow of insights designed to spark reflection and connection.
