Helen Burness is the founder of Saltmarsh Marketing and Helen Squared – two businesses helping law firms and legal providers think differently and market boldly.
Alongside her work in the legal world, Helen is also a carer for her eleven-year-old daughter, who has complex needs, a role that’s shaped not just her day-to-day, but her entire perspective on leadership, time, energy, and the stories we choose to tell.
In this session, Helen spoke candidly about what it really means to juggle these two worlds – the pride, the pressure, and the power of making it work on your own terms.
Who was it for?Â
This event was open to all UK-based IP professionals. It doesn’t matter what type of organisation you work in, what role you play in it or what your career level; everyone is welcome at IP Ability events – including of course disabled people, carers and their allies. IP Inclusive events are for everyone in the IP professions – including marketing, HR, IT, paralegal, recruitment, patents, trademarks, and whatever level you are at from trainee to partner – *everyone* is welcome to attend.
