The IP Inclusive Business Support working group presents
Networking – The Theory and the Practice
Thursday 18 June
8.00 – 9.30 am, London
Do networking events feel a little intimidating, or like you’re not getting as much out of them as you could? You’re not alone. Networking plays a powerful role in both personal and professional growth, and connecting with peers from across the IP sector can open doors to invaluable support and insight.
The IP Inclusive Business Support Professionals working group is hosting a friendly, confidence‑building networking session designed to help you get more from these opportunities. We’ll start with a short, practical introduction to networking theory—complete with simple, actionable tips—before putting those ideas into practice over a relaxed breakfast buffet.
We’re delighted to welcome Michael Evans from BD for IP, who will be on hand to answer your questions, share his expertise, and offer his top techniques for effective, authentic networking.
This event is open to everyone working in intellectual property, including paralegals, IT specialists, marketing and finance teams, media and recruitment professionals, administrators, HR colleagues, and more. Expect a warm, supportive atmosphere where you can build confidence, develop your skills, expand your network, exchange insights, and explore new opportunities within the vibrant IP community.
