On Time to Talk Day – Thursday 5 February 2026 – the IP Ability and IPause committees are excited to jointly host a hybrid lunchtime event on Neurodiversity and (peri)menopause presented by Sara-Louise Ackrill.

Sara-Louise is passionate about the crossover between neurodiversity and women’s health. She will talk about Neurodiversity and (peri)menopause both from a professional and personal perspective for around 40 minutes, followed by a 20 minute Q&A session.

 

Meet the Speaker

Colour photo of Sara-Louise AckrillSara-Louise describes herself as a therapist and entrepreneur working in the field of neurodiversity, in the UK and abroad. Her organisations (Wired Differently and Start Differently) between them provide services to neurodivergent professionals and students, including therapy and coaching; learning and development, support ands advocacy, virtual assistance and public speaking. Sara is co-author of The ND Lovers Club: How Neurodivergent Women Lust, Like and Love and a Diversity and Inclusion and Women’s Health writer for The European, Female First and National World. Sara-Louise is perimenopausal and diagnosed with PMDD. She is autistic with ADHD. Her team of 32 are mostly neurodivergent themselves.

 

Who is it for?

IP Inclusive events are for everyone working in the IP professions – including marketing, HR, IT, paralegal, recruitment, patents, trade marks, and whatever level you are at from trainee to senior leader – *everyone* is welcome to attend.

Feel free to invite a friend or colleague to come along with you – someone in a different role or at a different career level, perhaps, or a colleague who’s not yet involved with IP Inclusive. They’ll be most welcome!
