The Power of Kindness in an Unkind World

A free webinar from IP Inclusive and Jonathan’s VoiceΒ

Thursday 19 June 2025

12.30 – 1.30 pm, online

In a world where the news seems to be dominated by cruelty and greed, it is more important than ever for us to hold onto the importance of simply being kind – to others and to ourselves.Β

In this session, we explored some of the evidence that being kind is actually good for your mental and physical health, thought about what gets in the way of being kind and looked at some ideas for introducing kindness in the workplace. Β Finally, we thought about the value and effectiveness of practising self-compassion.

We hope that this lunchtime webinar encouraged attendees to pause and focus on how simple acts of kindness can help us become happier, healthier people. If you missed the live event, or if you’d like to share with someone else or even revisit the discussion yourself, you can watch the recording below.

Who was it for?

This event was for all UK-based IP professionals who are interested in mental wellbeing. We don’t mind where you work, what role you play there or what career level you’re at. This is an important topic, which touches many and matters to all of us.

Bring a guest!

At IP Inclusive we want to reach as many IP people as possible. Why not invite a guest to watch one of our webinars with you – someone in a different role or at a different career level, perhaps; an ally or potential ally; or a colleague who’s not yet involved with IP Inclusive? They’ll be most welcome!
