IP Futures
Halloween-themed fun
and virtual drinks!
IP Futures supporters gathered for some Halloween-themed virtual drinks on Thursday 29 October 2020 from 6 to 7.30 pm.
The main theme and questions discussed were:
- How did you get into IP?
- What barriers have you faced along your IP journey?
Whether they started in private practice or in-house, took a traditional or non-traditional route, it was good to hear everyone’s experiences of how they got into the IP profession.
Since it was Halloween, people were free to dress up and bring Halloween-themed drinks and snacks to the event.
As with previous IP Futures events, discussions were in small groups where people could get to know their fellow attendees and share advice/support. We then reconvened a broader meeting to discuss some of the ideas that had been proposed in the smaller groups.
This informal gathering was open to anyone in their first 5 or 6 years or so as an IP professional, whatever their role.
