Free CIPA breakfast event
with AIPLA and IP Inclusive

8 – 10.30 am
Join members of the CIPA Diversity and Inclusion Committee and speakers representing the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) for a Diversity and Inclusion in IP breakfast meeting.
IP Inclusive will be represented on the panel by Lee Davies, CIPA’s Chief Executive and closely involved with our initiative from its inception in 2015, and by the moderator Marianne Privett, a partner and patent attorney at AA Thornton, co-founder and co-lead of our IP Ability community.
This breakfast event is a well-established feature of AIPLA’s annual visits to the UK and facilitates important exchanges of ideas to promote positive change. It’s a wonderful networking opportunity if you’re able to get to London for an early start and fancy a convivial breakfast among friends.
Discussion theme
The topic for discussion will be allyship. The panel will discuss progress on this aspect of EDI from both sides of the Atlantic, encouraging us all to reflect on what we can do to stand beside and help others in less well-represented groups.
