Welcome to the IP & ME Coffee Club – June edition!
Attendees joined IP & ME and friends at their “coffee” date, on Friday 23 June 2023 at 2 pm. We took a break in the day to have a light, informal chat over a cuppa.
The running order was as follows:
14:00 to 14:05 – Intro
14:05 to 14:15 – First chat (breakout rooms)
14:15 to 14:25 – Second chat (breakout rooms)
14:25 to 14:30 – Outro
Topics for the first and second chats were revealed on the day. Some wonderfully upbeat discussions ranged from the cultural highlights of favourite holiday destinations to IP organisations’ efforts to improve ethnic diversity and inclusion.
Who was it for?
These informal get-togethers are for IP & ME supporters and would-be supporters. They’re open to people from minority ethnic backgrounds and allies as well. Whatever your role and career level, if you work in the UK’s IP sector we’d love you to join us!
Feel free to invite a friend or colleague to come along with you – perhaps someone who’s not yet involved with IP & ME? They’ll be most welcome!
We’ll be organising coffee dates at various times and locations, depending on who’s around. Sometimes they’ll have a theme to kick-start the conversations, but there will be plenty of opportunities for a general chat and networking too. It’s a wonderful safe space to connect and build career-long relationships.
Cost
This event was free. So are all our resources. We think it’s important to keep IP Inclusive on the right side of the paywall.
