Women in IP’s much-loved Connected Bubbles Networking Event returned on Wednesday 25 March 2026 – and this year we teamed up with CIPA!
Following last year’s fantastic UK-wide success, we once again brought together IP professionals across the country for a series of coordinated in-person networking events. Designed to be relaxed, welcoming and genuinely enjoyable, Connected Bubbles offered the perfect setting to build meaningful professional relationships — without the formality of a traditional conference.
Why attend?
In a profession built on collaboration, referrals and trusted relationships, strong networks matter. Connected Bubbles is a coordinated, nationwide celebration of the IP community. On the same day, IP professionals across the UK came together in multiple cities, creating a shared moment of connection from Scotland to the South West. Connected Bubbles gave IP professionals the opportunity to:
- Meet peers across private practice, in-house and related IP roles;
- Strengthen regional IP communities while being part of a UK-wide initiative;
- Build relationships beyond your immediate firm or organisation;
- Exchange insights on industry trends and shared challenges;
- Connect with professionals at different career stages in an inclusive setting.
Whether you were looking to expand your referral network, explore new career perspectives, find potential collaborators, or simply broaden your professional circle, this event provided a friendly and supportive space to do so — over a glass of bubbles (alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available!).
We’re proud to be supported by the CIPA DEI Committee, helping us further expand networking opportunities and encourage greater connection across the UK IP community. Whether you’re based in Scotland, the North West, Yorkshire, the South West, East Anglia or London, you could join your local IP community while still being part of a major UK-wide initiative.

The event was open to everyone working in IP, across all roles and all genders. Whether you are an attorney, paralegal, in HR, marketing, IT, finance, or recruitment, if you work this event is for you. If you know someone who hasn’t yet been to an IP Inclusive event, this was the perfect one to start with — welcoming, informal, and full of great people. Whether you’re growing your referral network, exploring collaborations, or simply keen to meet more professionals in your region, Connected Bubbles offered a relaxed, welcoming space to do just that.

This event was free. So are all our resources.
