A Midlands network virtual discussion

This informal meeting was organised by our Midlands network but was open to all IP Inclusive supporters. Our aim was to increase awareness of other people’s cultural and religious beliefs, for example so that we can be more inclusive when organising events and more understanding of people’s requests to take annual leave.
Chaired by Midlands network lead Jennifer Unsworth (Vault IP), the discussions featured thoughts from panellists about Judaism, Islam and Jainism, and a chance for attendees to talk about their own experiences and hear about others’. It was an enlightening and inspiring conversation. Attendees agreed that further, similar events would be useful, along with resources such as fact sheets to inform allies about different cultures and faiths.
