Women in IP

What happens when the concept of a career ladder no longer makes sense? How do you navigate a career at the same time as raising a young family? How do you balance a double-career relationship? Can you afford to take time out to pursue that MBA?

If you change direction, how easy is it to go back again?

Can you really have it all?

IP Inclusive’s Women in IP community organised this highly popular event in partnership with award-winning Reignite Academy and as part of IP Inclusive Week. Delegates heard from Reignite’s co-founder, Lisa Unwin, and from a panel of eminent IP professionals, on their experiences and views of a “non-linear” career path to success.

In this changing world, traditional roles and expectations are being overturned. But role models and candid advice on how to deal with these changes can be hard to find. At this event we explored the reasons behind, and some key tips for navigating, a non-linear career. These issues are relevant to us all and the event was open to everyone, regardless of gender or role or career level.

Registration and refreshments began from 5.30 pm, with the talk and panel discussion from 6-7 pm and networking from 7 pm.

With huge thanks to Pinsent Masons for their generosity in hosting us at their London office (30 Crown Place, Earl Street, London, EC2A 4ES).
