IP Inclusive

Our annual update and planning event

Tuesday 16 April 2024
10 am – midday

Attendees joined us at our first ever hybrid annual meeting this year!

As usual, it was a chance to celebrate what we’d achieved in the last twelve months and plan for the next.
And it was lovely to be able to see more of you in-person again – it’s been a long time since our last such get-together in early 2020.

Our programme

This informal meeting included:

  • Updates from our communities, networks, Careers in Ideas task force and other working groups;
  • A chance to hear from our management team and Advisory Board; and
  • A discussion about IP Inclusive’s plans and priorities for 2024-25.

There were also some informal group discussions (breakout rooms online) so that everyone had a chance to be heard. Attendees came armed with suggestions and feedback!

Visit this page to download the meeting papers, including the agenda, our 2023 Annual Report and our most recent business plan and budget. For ease, you can also click here to download the agenda.

The IPIM Annual General Meeting

Our annual meeting incorporated the formal AGM for our governing body IP Inclusive Management (IPIM). But we kept that part short. We’re not much into bureaucracy.

Who was invited?

Everyone who works in or with the UK’s IP sector was welcome. It doesn’t matter what type of organisation or department you work in, what role you play there or how senior you are, we love you to get involved!

Our venue

As well as welcoming delegates who wanted to join us online, we also met in-person, kindly hosted by Allen & Overy LLP at One Bishops Square, London E1 6AD (near Liverpool Street station).

This event was free. So are all our resources. We think it’s important to keep IP Inclusive the right side of the paywall.

That said, we do need money to keep the show on the road, so please consider making a donation, however small, towards our 2023-24 fundraising campaign. For more information – including about corporate donations – visit our fundraising page here.

Follow-up resources

You can find a recording of the main part of the meeting here. We’ve also prepared a summary of the group/breakout discussions.

Phillipa Holland, Principal Consultant at Fellows and Associates, has also written a great event report, which you can find here.
