Women in IP coffee dates
to mark International Women’s Day

Tuesday 9 March 2021
2 pm

Please join us for our next Women in IP coffee date. We’d love to see you there!

Discussion theme

This set of coffee dates will be a follow-on from the Women in IP annual event (“Quick Wins”) and timed to coincide with International Women’s Day, the day before.

We will be considering the following three questions:

  1. What “quick wins” (in any strand of diversity) have you seen implemented in your organisation or elsewhere?
  2. What else would you like to see implemented, that could easily be done?
  3. How could you challenge your organisation, or other people, to do more? For example, how could you raise the issue of improving the shared parental leave policy? How could you challenge someone who has made a flippant comment?

Venues and hosts

As usual, there will be a number of hosts around the country so that you can attend the get-together that works best for you. If you’d like to join us, please contact your local host from the list below. In some cases places will be limited, so it will be first come, first served.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of gender.

See you there!

These informal meet-ups are a popular way to meet new friends, share your thoughts and feelings, and generally cheer yourself up. Taking account of our supporters’ feedback, we’ve been varying the time of day for the events, so that hopefully everyone will have the chance to attend at least one, whatever their personal and professional schedules. But do please send us your suggestions for future events.

You can read more about our previous coffee dates on the Women in IP page of the IP Inclusive website. Or look for the image above in our News and Features posts.

If you’d like to host one of these events yourself, either now or in the future, please contact either Isobel Barry or Emily Teesdale from the Women in IP committee.
