A free online event to celebrate the launch of the
IP Non-traditional Family Network
Wednesday 13 October 2021
1 – 2 pm
We invited supporters to join us over lunch to celebrate the 2021 launch of our latest community, the IP Non-traditional Family Network. This was a relaxed meet, with introductions from some network members, plus a talk from guest speaker Justine Long of the solo parent charity Gingerbread.
Members of the community and their allies were invited to come along and say hello. The event was open to all UK-based IP professionals, whatever their role or career level and whatever type of organisation they worked in.
More about Gingerbread
Gingerbread is a national charity that provides information to help single parents support themselves and their families. They campaign and influence policy to reduce stigma against single parents, and make services more accessible to all families – whatever their shape or size.
As the “What we do” page of their website says:
“We want a society in which single parent families are treated equally and fairly.”
Justine has kindly provided the slides from her talk, which you can download here.
This event was free. So are all our resources. We think it’s important to keep IP Inclusive the right side of the paywall.
That said, we do need money to keep the show on the road, so if you enjoyed the event please consider contributing to our 2021-22 fundraising campaign. For individual ad hoc donations, our crowdfunding page is here. Or for more information – including for corporate sponsors – visit our general fundraising page here.
