Remote access meeting, Social, Women in IP

Back due to popular demand!
Our second series of “virtual” coffee mornings was on
Wednesday 3 June 2020
8.30 am

Our Women in IP community held their next series of 40-minute virtual coffee mornings on Wednesday 3 June 2020. As with the highly popular 28 April events, there were a number of hosts around the country, allowing people to join the get-together that worked best for them.

Starting at 8.30 am, each coffee morning involved an informal, roundtable-style discussion, and our hosts made sure that everyone had a chance to be heard, with smaller “breakout rooms” in the Glasgow event. Our theme this time was “what we have learned about ourselves during lockdown” (What have you learned about yourself? And about the people around you? What do you want to keep and what do you want to change?). As usual, though, people were free to chat about anything that happened to be on their mind at the time! Our report of the 28 April events shows just how much amazingly useful stuff can be exchanged in a brief pre-work chat – and you can read a similarly inspiring report of the June events here.

These were our June 2020 hosts; thank you to all of them:
