World Autism Awareness Week is from 1-7 April 2019, and World Autism Awareness Day on Tuesday 2 April. In this inspiring video, an IPO employee who is on the autism spectrum talks about his experiences of working in the Office, and how he and his colleagues have adapted to maximise his involvement. We’re currently working on a series of IP Inclusive webinars about autism, dyslexia and other facets of neurodiversity within the IP sector. With a panel of experts and IP professionals who have first-hand experience, this project aims to raise awareness of the challenges facing people on the autism spectrum, or who have neurodiversity issues such as dyslexia or dyspraxia. It will explore how we can adapt our working environments, working patterns and general behaviour to make them feel truly valued and included.
