We’re excited to launch our new Mental Health Hub! These new mental wellbeing pages on the IP Inclusive website have been created in collaboration with the charity Jonathan’s Voice.
They provide a wealth of information and resources aimed at individuals, managers and organisations. We hope that they will help us all to increase our understanding of mental health and our ability to talk about it.
A tour of the Mental Health Hub
We’ve created various tiles for you to explore, whatever your interest in mental health.
Improve your wellbeing
Be proactive in taking care of your mental health with Wellbeing at work. Here you’ll find a wide range of information and self-care techniques, covering topics such as managing stress in the workplace, how to say ‘no’, dealing with digital pressures, good time management and much more.
Concerned about someone?
If you are concerned about your own mental health, then head to Help if you are struggling.
If you are concerned about someone else’s mental health, then take a look at Help if you are concerned about someone else.
These sections will help you feel more confident in recognising the signs and symptoms that suggest someone might be experiencing difficulties. There is also information, suggestions and resources, including what to say.
The impact of intersectionality
Explore why those from under-represented and/or marginalised groups are more likely to experience additional stress or mental health difficulties in Understanding stress in minority groups.
Mental wellbeing for your team and workplace
Our Guidance for organisations and senior leaders contains information, suggestions and strategies to help organisations create a mentally healthy working environment.
Our Guidance for managers explains how to spot the signs of mental health challenges and stress in your employees. It also describes how to support staff who are struggling and how to have effective conversations about mental health. Finally, it highlights the importance of leading by example.
Other resources
The IP Inclusive website contains a wealth of further mental health-related information including articles, recordings of past events, blog posts and other resources. We also regularly hold mental health-related events in conjunction with Jonathan’s Voice. Details and links can be found in Events, Articles and Resources.
A big thank you
We would like to express huge thanks to Penelope Aspinall and Val McCartney from Jonathan’s Voice for the time, effort and energy they committed to this fantastic resource. A big thank you also to the other individuals, throughout the IP Inclusive community, who have contributed to the project.
Take a look around and let us know what you think!
