Please complete our survey and let us know what you’d like us to cover in “Inclusivity Unlocked!”, our programme of events and resources on post-lockdown working.

At our April 2022 annual meeting, many of our stakeholders told us that they wanted us to provide support surrounding post-lockdown working arrangements. That’s led us to embark on a project called “Inclusivity Unlocked!” Under this banner, we will provide a series of events and corresponding resources that will promulgate guidance and advice around how workplaces and working arrangements can be made more inclusive post Covid.

Before beginning this project, we thought it would be a good idea to ask our stakeholders the types of topics that they want us to cover. This will enable us to produce content that really matters to our stakeholders and will ensure that we provide real value.

Please help us do this by completing our survey. It will only take a few minutes and your insights are greatly valued. It is open to all UK-based IP professionals and our Charter signatories. The results will be completed anonymously and the survey will run from 1 August 2022 to 31 May 2023 (note new extended date). After that, do feel free to send us additional suggestions via [email protected].

Why we are conducting the survey

Workplace inclusivity is a theme which many of our stakeholders told us in our general meeting that they wanted us to explore. As the world emerges from the pandemic and we all begin to adjust to the new normal, it is now the perfect time to consider how we rebuild workplaces and working arrangements to ensure they are more inclusive, especially for specific groups. In doing this, we can ensure that nobody is left behind in the post pandemic workplace.

Whilst we have lots of great ideas about which topics we should cover as part of Inclusivity Unlocked!, we wanted to gain our stakeholders’ opinions too. This will enable IP Inclusive to provide events and resources that are relevant, helpful, and truly valuable.

Please help!

Our survey is an opportunity for you to let us know the various topics you would like us to cover as part of Inclusivity Unlocked! Equally, it is the chance for you to tells us what is working well or what is not working so well within your organisation when it comes to workplace inclusivity post Covid. This will help us to understand the current issues that exist, identify what work needs to be done, and assess where IP Inclusive can provide extra value.

As we have said, the survey is voluntary and will be anonymous. You are free to skip any questions that you are not comfortable with. There is also a free text box at the end of the survey where you can provide any additional comments.

It is also important to make it clear that the survey is open to Charter signatories as well as UK IP professionals (whatever their role or career level). We would love to get as wide a reach as possible.

The survey will only take about 4 minutes to complete. So please do it now before you forget.

You will be able to access the survey from 1 August to 31 May 2023.

Our first event

While we analyse our survey responses and plan our programme of events accordingly, we will be making a start on our first Inclusivity Unlocked! events. We hope these will include a panel discussion made up of representatives from our six communities, to explore how different under-represented groups have experienced the workplace and working arrangements post-Covid and any specific challenges they have faced. This will be an opportunity for the panel to discuss how new working arrangements could be made more inclusive for everyone. The discussions will further help us to determine the themes for our future events and what work needs to be done within this area.

Look out for more details of this and other Inclusivity Unlocked! events, including on mental wellbeing post-lockdown, hybrid working, office design and more. They’ll all be on our events page shortly.
